Women University Campus inaugurated in Swat
SWAT, 26 July: Prime Minister’s Adviser and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Muqam inaugurated Women University Campus in Swat on Tuesday.
Amir Muqam said the Women University in Swat was a long standing demand of the area people. He said the university campus will provide opportunity for the girls of Swat to get higher education in their own city.
The adviser said the BS Botany and Zoology classes will be initiated in the campus in the first phase and it will get status of full university in the second phase. He said the students will be adjusted in a rented building till completion of own building of the university campus.
Mr Muqam criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that it makes tall claims but don’t give facilities and representation to women. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has approved Rs900 million for the university.
