MIRANSHAH, 18 October: Two soldiers were martyred in a blast in North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.

TNN correspondent said the security forces personnel were travelling to Khawaja Khar check post from Khajori check post as per routine when their vehicle hit an improvised explosive device (IED) planted on the roadside. The vehicle was also damaged in the blast.

The security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and started search operation. The Bannu-Miranshah road was also closed for all kinds of traffic after the blast.
