Tribal MNA donates Rs 100000, motorcycle to disabled persons in Khyber Agency

JAMRUD, 31 May: Member of National Assembly (MNA) Alhaaj Shah Jee Gul Afridi has announced to construct a handicrafts center for disabled people in Khyber Agency.
This he announced during the launching ceremony of fund raising campaign organized by Niyaz Mazoor Association, a body working for the welfare of disabled persons, in Jamrud Jirga Hall on Tuesday. Shah Jee Gul Afridi also donated Rs. 100,000 to the association and announced a motorcycle for disabled newspaper hawker Gul Askar.
The head of the association Niyaz Bahadur promised on the occasion to donate land for the construction of the center.
Assistant Political Agent Saif-ul-Islam, Political Tehsildar Asmatullah Wazir and a large number of special persons attended the ceremony. The officials of local administration and MNA distributed registration certificates of Niyaz Mazoor Association among 120 disabled persons of the agency. Niyaz Bahadur said that the members of the association were increasing day by day saying so far around 4000 disabled persons from across the Federally Administered Tribal Areas have been given membership of the body.
