Student stabbed to death in Swabi

Student stabbed to death in Swabi

SWABI: A ‘mentally ill’ man stabbed two girls  at a girls school on Thursday in Mohib Banda area of Swabi district, the police said.

The police said that Hilal climbed over the wall of Community Girls Model School and stabbed two students identified as Hina Gul and Shawana, injuring them seriously.

The injured students were taken to hospital where Hina Gul succumbed to her injuries in the hospital while Shawana is said to be stable.

The police arrested the attacker who was found to be mentally ill after initial information. The police registered a case and started investigation. Education Minister Muhammad Atif Khan took notice of the incident and directed the police to submit a report as soon as possible.
