President Ghani orders to investigate murder of Pakistan diplomatic staffer
KABUL, 8 November: Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday ordered to investigate murder of Pakistani consulate official in Jalalabad.
According to media reports, President Ghani said that it was government’s responsibility to provide security to diplomatic staff and ordered the authorities concerned to complete the investigation as soon as possible.
Unknown assailants gunned down a Pakistani consulate official Nayyar Iqbal in Jalalabad on Tuesday. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
