Police arrest MPA’s brother for ‘insulting a woman’ in Karak

KARAK: Karak police claimed to have arrested two persons including brother of a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Gul Sahib Khan on Friday for allegedly insulting a woman.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Zaheer Shah told Tribal News Network that the suspects including MPA’s brother namely Shakeel were arrested on complaints of Amina Bibi.

He said that the complainant lodged a complaint that the suspects had entered her house with alleged intentions to insult her, violating her right to secrecy.

The police officer added that both suspects were arrested and a case has been registered against them, while the suspects were reportedly pressurizing the woman for patch up.
