MINGORA, June 19: A new office for computerised driving licences has been inaugurated in Swat district.

Inaugurating the office in Gulkada area of Saidu Sharif, the Malakand Commissioner, Mr Afsar khan asked the officials to entertain the delayed licence cases on priority basis.

Before this office, the residents of Swat used to come to Peshawar to make their licences.

A local resident TNN, “Our friends applied for licences in Peshawar but their cases were not entertained for the last two years; that is why I did not applied for it. But now I am going to apply for a licence after inauguration of new office in our area. I will request the authorities to facilitate the people of Swat at this office as they suffered a lot in the past.”
