Medicine laboratory In-charge arrested for fraud in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, 29 August: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ehtisab Commission on Monday has arrested Khalid Khan, In-charge of medicines testing laboratory, over charges of fraud , sources in the commission revealed.
They said that Khalid Khan was arrested during a raid on the laboratory as he is accused of terming interferon injections worth millions of rupees as substandard due to his personal biases.
They added that the accused inflicted loss millions of rupees on national exchequer and thus he was arrested after the accusations leveled against him were proved true.
The accused would be produced before Ehtisab court tomorrow (Tuesday).
