MARDAN, 29 July: The top 20 position holders of Peshawar and Mardan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in the matriculation examination were awarded medals here on Saturday.
A special function was held in Mardan, where the BISE Peshawar and Mardan rewarded 20 students for being among the top position holders in the matriculation examination. Chairman BISE Mardan Professor Shaukat Hayat and Chairman BISE Peshawar Fazal Rehman and relatives of the students attended the function.
Almi Aleena Alamgir who secured the second position in BISE Mardan matriculation examination told TNN that she feel proved for honored and encouraged. “My father plays major role in my achievement. I also participate in sport activities. In our society so many people forbid their daughters from getting education and taking part in sport activities,” she said.
