KP government to open computer labs in schools for women

PESHAWAR, 23 November: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to start computer short courses for women in the computer labs of government-run schools in the province.
KP Education Minister Muhammad Atif Khan said this while inaugurating a recently established computer lab in a government school in Shaheen camp here on Wednesday.
The minister said initially the project would be started in 17 schools on pilot basis and would be launched phase-wise in all the 1340 government schools having computer labs.
Giving details about the project, Atif Khan said the women of the surrounding areas would be taught computer courses in the labs in the evening.
