PESHAWAR, 9 September: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has remitted the sentences of prisoners in various jails of the province by one month on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

According to a notification of the Home Department, the sentences of the prisoners were remitted under the Pakistan Prisoners Rules 1985.

All the prisoners will benefit from the remittance in sentences.

Extension of higher, superior courts to FATA to improve women lives, say experts
