Fata rehabilitation, development not possible without FATA-KP merger: Imran Khan
February 08, 2017

KARACHI, 08 February: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that rehabilitation and reforms in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) are not possible without merging the tribal areas into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Talking to media, Imran Khan condemned the federal cabinet meeting for not including FATA reforms in the agenda. He said that the federal government was trying to ruin the lives of six million tribal people by ignoring their issues instead of giving them the priority. He added that all the stakeholders were united on FATA’s merger into KP.
Imran Khan termed the Fata reforms issue as the issue of national unity and stability. He said that the tribal areas merger into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the only way for the rehabilitation and development of Fata.
