Islamabad sit-in bears fruits as authorities start demining SWA
It seems that the civil and military authorities in South Waziristan agency have started implementing the pledges the federal government made with the organizers of the 10-day sit-in staged against extra judicial killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud. Reportedly, the authorities have formed nine teams to purge the tribal district from the scattered landmines, which had been killing and injuring the local tribesmen.

The otherwise neglected community of transgender people has been included in Scout association as a Batch of 40 transgender youth took oath in Karachi on Friday. The young transgender scouts wore scarves and took oath. Atif Amin Hussain, Commissioner IPC Sindh Boys Scouts, administered the oath.
