Abducted FATA Deputy Director Education released in Lakki Marwat
LAKKI MARWAT, 12 February: Abductors have released the kidnapped FATA education department deputy director Mohibur Rehman Dawar on Sunday. Mohibur Rehman was kidnapped yesterday from Lakki Marwat.
According to Sarai Norang police, abductors themselves released the Deputy Director Mohibur Rehman and reached police station.
Mohibur Rehman Dawar along with his son was on his way to Peshawar after inspecting schools in Tajori area of FR Lakki when unidentified armed men travelling in a car intercepted him near Kallaywal Hotel in the jurisdiction of Tajori police station. They kidnapped Mohibullah while leaving behind injuring his son in the car.
Police and security forces had launched search operation to recover the abducted officer however today morning Mohibur Rehman reached the Sarai Norang police station of his own.
Mohibur Rehman told police that the abductors had snatched Rs. 50,000 cash, luxurious mobile phone and a watch from him and left him in desert area in Karak late at night. Mohibur Rehman Dawar was residing in Peshawar however now he is with Lakki Marwat police for interrogation.
