KP governor taunts Maulana Fazl for opposing Fata-KP merger

CHARSADDA, 12 February: Hitting hard at Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) for opposing the merger of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Sunday said that final decision of merging has been made.
Referring to Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Achakzai, Jhagra said that they were trying to convince those people who were opposing the tribal areas integration into KP. He said that decision of merging tribal areas with KP were taken in the light of Fata reforms committee recommendations.
He also rejected the reports of dropping Fata reforms from cabinet meeting agenda, saying the cabinet would take up the Fata reforms in next meeting.
