13 militants killed, one soldier martyred during Operation Khyber-IV: ISPR
PESHAWAR, 20 July: 13 militants have been killed and soldier was martyred as Operation Khyber-IV is successfully progressing to purge militancy from Rajgal Valley of Khyber Agency, Inter Services Public Relations said on Thursday.
ISPR said that Pakistan Air Force and Army Aviation bombed militants’ hideouts in Rajgal Valley. 13 militants were killed and six others wounded during the airstrikes, ISPR added. Several hideouts of militants were also destroyed during the airstrikes.
ISPR said that the security forces including Special Service Group commandos have cleared 90 Square Kilometers during Operation Khyber-IV. During exchange of fire a soldier Sepoy Abdul Jabbar laid his life for the motherland.
Pakistan Army Engineers Counter IED teams have been detected, recovered and neutralized IEDs, which the terrorists had laid in numbers, the ISPR said.
The Operation Khyber-IV was launched on July 16 which is a part of Operation Rad-ul Fasaad.
