PESHAWAR, 9 November: At least 25 people lost their lives and over 50 others injured when a passenger bus travelling from Kohat to Raiwind fell off a bridge in Dhok Pathan area near Chakwal on Wednesday.

Rescuers said the bus carrying about a hundred passengers to Raiwind Tableeghi Ijtima fell from a height of 150-feet. The cause of the accident was break failure. The injured people were taken to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Talagang.

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif sought report of the accident. He also expressed grief sorrow over the loss of lives in the accident.
