PESHAWAR, 9 July: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has appointed Professor Dr Khursheed Ahmed as Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.

The university sources said the seat was lying vacant after retirement of former vice chancellor Dr Ihsan Ali on 20 March. The KP government had sent the names of Professor Dr Khursheed Ahmed and Professor Dr Saeed Anwar to the governor after interviews and other process. The governor approved the name of Dr Khursheed as VC of Abdul Wali Khan University on Saturday.
