BAJAUR AGENCY, 12 February: Five security personnel were seriously injured in a blast that occurred while they attempted to defuse a bomb in Mamond tehsil of the troubled Bajaur Agency here on Sunday.
According to the Bajaur political administration, the security personnel were defusing the two bombs recovered from Damadola area of Bajaur today afternoon. The administration said that personnel successful defused one bomb however while defusing the second bomb went off leaving five personnel critical injured. The injured personnel were shifted to Peshawar for medical treatment.
Security forces have launched search operation in the area.
