JAMRUD, 08 February: Security forces imposed curfew and launched a massive door-to-door search operation in Shakas area of Jamrud tehsil, Khyber Agency on Wednesday to hunt for the outlaws.
According to local people, the Frontier Corps Chitral Scouts has blocked Bara-Shakas road for traffic and arrested eight suspected people during the search operation. Security forces during the door-to-door search operation recovered pistols, Kalashnikovs and other heavy weapons.
Local journalists said that the curfew was imposed following a bomb blast inside a house in Shakas area. The blast had killed two people and injured three others.
